Kungsträdgården, King’s Garden is park in Norrmalm. It is popular place to hang out, there’s cafées and open-air concerts in summer and ice rink in the winter. There’s a lot of cherry trees, what can be seen in the photos and video with yellow leaves.
First mentions about Kungsträdgarden are from the Middle Age, it is in historical records konungens kålgård (“king’s cabbage garden”) in 1430. The statue in the photo above is statue of Charles XIII. Next to Kungsträdgården is St. Jakob’s Kyrkan, St. James’s Church.
